Swell Life

I've always been fascinated (and borderline terrified) by the ocean. Growing up on an island surrounded by it and within a five minute walk of it has helped me to face and conquer this fear as well as recognize the beautifully spiritual characteristics of the ocean. It has drawn me deepler into relationship with God the Creator than I could have imagined and He draws me deepr still. This online journal is dedicated to the pursuit of grasping an unfathomable God through the wondrous fathoms of the fathomable underwater masterpiece that he has put upon this earth. It's massive depths echo with His power, reflect his beauty and writhe with the truth of Who He is.

I'm a small town girl with an unquenchable thirst for an incredible, unfathomable God and with bright eyes to see this great, big, beautiful world. I grew up on a little piece of volcanic, paradisiacal land in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. I was born in California but moved to Kailua, Hawaii when I was two years old and I've since been nourished on the balmy weather, lush mountains and warm seawater.  I have an incredible family consisting of my Dad (Gordon), Mom (Cora), three younger sisters (Shanae, Kiana and Tia) and my Grandmother Kate who lives with us. I also have a boyfriend, Ryan, who encouraged me to pursue the desires that have now become this website that may yet become something more.
